About Us
Her Esthetician - formely Spa L'Esplanade - was founded by Amy Wong, a
specially skilled and Certified Esthetician and Permanent Make-up artist.
Amy was well loved by her clients very early in her career for the quality of
her work. With close to 20 years in her commitment to her customers, she
still actively offers guidance and continous training to her staff.
Eyelash Extensions:
Involved very early in eyelash extensions services, Amy has made her
salons well-known in the Ottawa Region for the best place for Eyelash
Extensions: Amy started to work on eyelash extensions 12 years ago,
researching products around the world and perfecting her procedures.
Twelve years ago, there was only one national supplier actively marketing
eyelash extensions products in North America, now there are at least a
dozen suppliers of eyelash extensions products.
Currently, our estheticians perform over 110 sets of lashes a month or
approximately over 11000 strands of lashes.
Nails:
Amy is experienced in all type of artificial nails, including acrylic, porcelain
and gel. (gel is UV gel) Our salons are now more specialized in gel
because gel products are much better for natural nail beds and gel is a
fume-free product (not like acrylic). It is a bit more pricey but it is also a
much more healthier product to use - for our staff and our customers .

Amy also conducts refresher classes and professional workshops to share
her experience and techniques with her colleagues and estheticians from
other salons.
